Show Hews of Interest Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer returned re-turned to their home in Springville Sunday from a month's stay in the East. They went by way of St Louis, Mo., stopping a while there to see places of interest to Mr. Fullmer when he served on a mission mis-sion some years ago. They stopped also at Cincinnati and in Washington, Washing-ton, D.C., a short time before arriving ar-riving in Philadelphia, where they spent some time including Christ- mas with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Francis (Donnetta Fullmer) Davis and family. They stayed until after their daughter Joan, 6, underwent a major operation on her foot. Returning Re-turning home the Fullmers traveled trav-eled south to Norfolk, Va., and then through Virginia, North and South Carolina and Georgia into Florida and down to Palm Beach and Miami where they spent a few days. Traveling up the west coast of the penninsula to Talla-hasse. Talla-hasse. they report it was interesting interest-ing to see many homes in the south swamp lands built on stilts. They traveled to Mobile, Ala., and spent some time in New Orleans touring the Frencf quarters and taking a trip up the Mississippi as well as seeing other points of interest. They stopped briefly at Memphis, Tenn., and at Little Rock, Ark., enroute home coming by way of Oklahoma City, Amar-illa, Amar-illa, Texas and Denver, Colo. |
