Show Kiwanis Club Initiates Program On Importance of Loyalty To Country i actively seeking converts here to their slave-state doctrines. The first of the series is entitled "This is Your Land." "And what a land it is this land where we live better than any other people in the whole world! Where we have better homes, with better conveniences conven-iences many times more automobiles, automo-biles, bathtubs, refrigerators, television tele-vision sets, and other 'luxuries' than all the rest of the world combined," com-bined," to quote briefly from the first pamphlet. In a somewhat similar program in 1948 and 1949, entitled "It's Fun to Live in America," distrubution of the folders reached more than 30,000.00 copies and won for Kiwanis Ki-wanis International a prize and an Honor Medal from the Freedoms Foundation. The Springville Kiwanis club will join with other clubs throughout the country in inaugurating, on the eve of its 39th anniversary, January 21, a dynamic new program, pro-gram, entitled The Minuteman, which has as its purpose the emphasizing em-phasizing of the importance of each individual United States citizen citi-zen in securing to our country the heritage which was won for us by our forefathers. The Minuteman is a series of pamphlets which are aimed at Mr. Average American. They tell in a concise manner the story of the American way of life and what it has done for our people. In announcing The Minuteman series, Donald T. Forsythe, President Presi-dent of Kiwanis International, said : "We. Americans have not been sufficiently conscious of the necessity ne-cessity of teaching our people about the American Way of Life. Meanwhile, subversives have been The Kiwanis would like to invite in-vite participation by interested organizations or-ganizations in its new program, The Minuteman.
