Jones, nee Colleen Norton Norton -Jones Wedding Reception Highlight of Week's Nuptial Events Pretty Miss Colleen Norton and James Allen Jones were united in marriage ceremonies peformed on Monday, September 10, m the Salt Lake Temple with President Young performing the wedding nteSA wedding dinner given at the home of the bridegrpom's par-ax- Mr S Cannon Tones of Provo, complimented the tll nil , uuu . newlyweds following the temple ceremony. ' On Wednesday evening, September 12, the couple was honored with a reception given by parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. J. Riley Norton, in the Second-Eighth ward chapel. The bride was radiant in a wedding gown of traditional white satin styled with an insert yoke of net and outlined with a quilted satin floral design. The cascading skirt terminated in a flowing tram of court length and a crown of seed pearls secured a sheer illusion VCl1 "beautiful pearl necklace and ear-rings brought by the bridegroom bride-groom from Japan added to the beauty of the wedding attire The bride carried a bouquet of pink and white rose-buds centered cen-tered with an orchid. . . A pink and white color scheme was carried out in the various details of the wedding reception with a profusion of early autumn flowers and tall white tapers were employed. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Donna N. Harmer as matron of honor, while Miss Elaine Leyshon, Mrs. Shirley Lowe Mrs. Lois Faye Harward, Miss Joan Jones, sister of the groom, were brides- malCDuties of best man were assumed by Ted White.
