Show R6und-n- About Town ... Mr. and Mrs. Grant Miner spent the past week visiting with their two daughters, Mrs. Voneta Peterson Peter-son and Miss Virginia Miner, in Los Angeles. Accompanying their parents on the trip were Lynn, Neill, Nancy and Johnny, who had a wonderful time visiting the many places of interest ni and around Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Averett, former residents of Springville, have just returned from a vacation trip to the northwest. With their son Verl and wife, they visited at Pendleton, Ore.; also at Crosser, Ore., with a nephew, Lionel Hall and family. At Celilo Falls, they were especially interested in watching wat-ching Indians catch some 32 lbs. of salmon. At Portland, they called on Thomas Lloynd and also toured Victoria, B. C, Vancouver through Canada to Spokane, Wash., Couer de' Alene, Idaho, Missoula, Mont., Butte, and Yellowstone Park. The latter place was soon vacated when it began to snow Thursday morning, morn-ing, Sept. 11. Several people from Springville including Frank Sanford, Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Ence in company with Howard Sanford will return this week from Manchester, Wash., where they went to attend the funeral services for their brother, Arthur V. Sanford, Jr. Accompanying Accom-panying them also was Mr. San-ford's San-ford's son David Sanford of Salt Lake City. . t . Mr. and Mrs. Guy Norton have returned from Nampa, Idaho, where they spent a weeks vacation with Mrs. Norton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezlon Jackman. |
