Show Services Held Saturday for William J. Ferran " Mass was held in" the Catholic church in Provo Saturday morning, for William Joseph Ferran, 62, of this city, who died Wednesday night, at the family residence, 305 East-' Fourth South Street, of a heart ailment. He had been in ill health for about nine months. The services were in charge of Father Seraphin Muller, who also conducted Rosary at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son Morturay Friday evening. Burial was in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery. Mr. Ferran was born at Gallina, N. M., November 3, 1888, a son of Isidore and Jesusita Chavez Ferran. Fer-ran. He lived in Springville for the past five years, coming here from Clover, near Tooele, where he lived from 1939 to 1942. Previous to this time, he had lived at La-Salle, La-Salle, following farming. Just before be-fore his last illness, he was employed em-ployed at the canning factory here. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rosaura Ferran and three sons, Isadore Ferran of Chromo, Colo.; Elias Ferran of Orem; Isa-uro Isa-uro Ferran of Springville. Another son, preceded him in death, while serving with the U. S. Armed forces in 194.5. There are also four brothers, Leopold Ferran of Santa Fe, N. M.; Ernesto Ferran of Santa Cruz, N. M.; Esidore Ferran, Coyote, Coy-ote, N. M.; Joe Ferran of Abiui, N. M.; and a sister, Mrs. M. A. Branch, Coyote, N. M.; also 12 grandchildren. |
