His time of: 9.9 in the century and the furlong in :22.1 was particularly par-ticularly outstanding for this early in the season. He leaped 19 ft. 10 inches to win the broad jump. Springville's 880 yard relay team composed of Art Reid, Burrows, Ted Van Leuvan and Morgan Thomas Tho-mas placed first in the 880 relay.
