Show DE Students Place In State Contest Seventeen students and Sponsor Paul Lloyd represented the Springville Spring-ville high school Distributive Club at the state convention conducted recently in Salt Lake City. From the many displays entered enter-ed by the various clubs, Springville Spring-ville was awarded first place, their entry being judged on uniqueness and originality: The display consisted con-sisted of a life-sized home-made cow eating baled hay from a manger. man-ger. The hay was labeled with the things which make a good D. E. student and was entitled the D. E. Process. The cow being different than an ordinary , animal gave punch instead of milk and the students stu-dents distributed the product to passerby in front of .a Salt Lake hotel. Jeannine Robbins and Carol Frances from Springville gave dance and song numbers on the program and Lois Pritchett also of the local club, gave a talk. |
