Show A MMen Title Is Retained By SecondWard Club The Second ward M Men captured cap-tured the Stake M Men title for tho second consecutive year by winning the Stake schedule's final event, tho Round Robin. Second defeated First 52-38 to win in the tourney's final night of play. Both Second and First will represent Kolob next week in the division tournament. To win the title, Second defeated defea-ted Third, Ninth and First. First won second place by winning all its games except . with Second. Ninth ward finished third place and Third, fourth. In tho final night's play, Jimmy Fullmer and Ray Miller led the Second to the title with their stellar stel-lar play and 17 and 14 points respectively. re-spectively. Ence and Reed also played well and assisted in the scoring. For First. Bjarnson and Barney with 12 and 10 points each, wero the big scorers for the losers. W. Haws connected for 7. In the other game of the evening, even-ing, Ninth, who came within one point of upsetting the Second the night before, defeated the Third 4 1-36. Parks was high point man with 17 counters with his team mates scoring pretty evenly. Every player on the Third ward team broke into the score column. Allan was high point scorer with 9 points, while Christensen and Diamond Dia-mond each contributed 8. High individual scoring honors in the Round Robin tourney were won by Jimmy Fuller with a total of 46 points. Ray Miller, his teammate, team-mate, come second with 34, followed fol-lowed by another team member, Paul Ence, with 30. Gordon Smith of the third ward placed next with 29 with Lynn Bjarnson of First and Boyd Parks of Ninth both getting get-ting 29 points. AH Stako Teams . . . Two All-stake teams were named at the conclusion of the tournament. These players will be presented pre-sented with awards, together with the winning Second warders, at the annual M Men and Gleaner banquet later in the season.
