C Delta Phi Chorus To Sing Monday Evening At Missionary Benefit Under the sponsorship of the Fifty-first Quorum of Seventy, the Delta Phi chorus from the B. Y. U. will present a chorus Monday evening, May 29, at 8 p. m., in the Second-Eighth ward chapel. The performance is being given to raise funds to continue the Seventy Sev-enty program of assistance to missionaries. mis-sionaries. The membership of the chorus is limited to returned missionaries and at present numbers approj-mately approj-mately 100. The group presented selections at the opening of the Springville Art Exhibit, and recently re-cently completed a trip through Southern Utah and Nevada, and earlier in the season appeared in Northern Utah and Southern Ha-ho. The chorus, directed by Harvey Mette' of Jacksonville, Fla., hs won places in contests throughout the state. Included in the group are talented individuals from many states and foreign countries, including in-cluding Hawaii, New Zealand, Canada and others. It will be a real treat for those who enjoy good music, and an opportunity to assist with the missionary mis-sionary project. |
