Show AL Thorpe Files For Utah County Commission Job A. L. Thorpe "Al" Thorpe of this city announces his candidacy for the office of two-year Utah county commissioner on the Democratic De-mocratic ticket. Mr. Thorpe has been a resident of Springville since 1920. He established es-tablished the Springville Garage and Storage Co., of which he is still owner and operator. He has been a member of the Springville Chamber of Commerce since its organization, serving for two years as director, and for the past six years he has been chairman of the C. of C. roads commission. Through his efforts, Hobble Creek canyon road was recently oiled as well as those in the west fields. Mr. Thorpe is a member of the LDS church, and has been a resident resi-dent and property owner in Springville Spring-ville for 30 years. He is the father of four children. |
