Show Coming Events Choir Program in 6th Ward Sunday The Sixth ward choir, directed by Golden Hansen will present the program in Sunday evening services. ser-vices. Composed of some 30 members, mem-bers, the choir is managed by R. D. Frazier with Annie Fox, accompanist accom-panist and Mrs. Raymond Dunn, librarian. Much effort and time have been spent to bring the best to the Sunday night program. 5th Ward Special Interest Leonard James of the Fifth ward bishopric, will discuss the subject, "Your Testimony," at the Special Interest Class of the Fifth ward MIA next Monday night. All adult members of the ward are invited. Leigslative Council Meet "Newer trends in the treatment of the mentally ill," is the subject to be treated at the meeting of the Utah county Women's Legislative Legis-lative Council meeting next Thursday Thurs-day March 1, at 9:30 p.m., at the Women's club house in Provo. A panel composed of staff members from the state hospital including Dr. Karl Kivler, moderator, and also Dr. Eugene Faux, Dr. Lou Aumack, Winona Perkins, RN, and Jeannette McMaster, RN, will take part. The meeting plans are under direction of Mrs. Wayne Hales, chairman; Mrs. Odessa Cullimore and Mrs. Cynthia Curtis, committeemen. commit-teemen. The same program is being be-ing presented at the Legislative Council meeting in Salt Lake today. |
