Show Cub Scouts Give Banquet-Program The Cub Scouts of Pack 3061, held their Blue and Gold banquet Thursday evening. The evening began be-gan with the unfurling of the stars and stripes to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner. The meal was then enjoyed by the cube, their parents and ihe following special guests, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Loveridge, Mrs. Carrie Car-rie Rawle, Melvin Duke, R. L. Wilson Wil-son and Kent C. Crandall. The dens each presented a skit in keeping with the month's theme, "Onward for God and my Country." Coun-try." With an impressive candle ceremony cere-mony conducted by Cubmaster Fred Erickson and assistant Max Alleman, six new Bobcats were welcomed to the pack. Their parents par-ents presented them with their Bobcat pins. They are Kent Sum-sion, Sum-sion, Roy Bird, John Peay, Jerry Warren, David Allan and Roger Erickson. The following cubs also received awards and lit the candles to show their progress along the Scouting trail: Arrow points, Duane Alleman, Alle-man, Larry Vane, Reed Jessee, Curtis Stewart, Richard Warner, Ricky Willis, Ray Thorn, Gordon Wilson, Keith Wilson, Douglas Erickson and Steven Dalton; Bear badge, Grent Johnson, Glen Dee-ben, Dee-ben, Robert Branum, Charles Gale, Charles Stuart. Lion badge, ' Creed Haymond, Dennis Johnson, Harold Stuart and Roger Wilson; WebeJos award, Gary Pierce; 1 yr service star, Ray Thorn; graduation certificates, Steven Dalton and Lark Allan. |
