They spent some time with a friend, Mrs. Josephine Whipple in Portland and are staying wun a daughter and son-in-law, Mi. and Mrs. Raymond Parker at J.a-coma, J.a-coma, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson and daughter Helen returned last week from a delightful vacation trip to the West Coast. They went down to San Francisco and then along the coast to Los Angeles visiting places of interest and a number ot relatives in and near both cities. They also toured the LDS temple and other tourist attractions. YJewd rioted . . ! Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Norton have returned from an enjoyable trip to California. They were accompanied accom-panied by daughters, Mrs. Lois Faye Harward of Orem; Mrs. Donna Don-na Harmer of Clearfield, and Mrs. Colleen Jones of Salt Lake; also Mr. Norton's mother, Mrs. Riley Norton of Circleville. In Los Angeles, An-geles, they met Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Mer-lin Norton also of Springville and they all toured places of interest including the LDS Temple, Forest Lawn, Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. Mr. and Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson returned home recently from a two-weeks vacation trip to California. Califor-nia. They attended the trailer show at Los Angeles and also made a tour of the LDS temple in that city. At Glendale, they visited Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thorn-and also spent a few days in the sunshine at Palm Springs. Mrs. Eva Noyes of Salt Lake City a sister of Mr. Anderson, who has been visiting a son in California since the holidays, returned home with them. - Mr. and Mrs. Lester Davis left Tuesday morning for a few days vacation trip to Arizona and other points south. Mrs. Dewey Bird has returned from an enjoyable visit with her daughter Reva and family near Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Alice Davis returned Wednesday Wed-nesday from Long Beach, Calif., where she has spent the past two weeks with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stone (RaNae Davis) and family. She was there to greet her little new grandson upon arrival from the hospital and she also enjoyed a tour of the temole at Los Angeles. j s Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler are expected home in about a week from Oregon and Washington, |
