Show National Officers Visit at Mapleton JC Dinner-Meet Mapleton Jaycees and their wives had the surprise of their lives and felt highly honored when they received re-ceived word that the Jaycee national president, Huo;h " " n - ) V -A 1 ': 1 ' .... An added honor came with the presence also of the national vice-president vice-president Mike Maloney of Arkansas. Ar-kansas. Also the Utah s'tate president. pres-ident. Bob Poe of Salt Lake was in attendance as well as Kent Palfreyman, Pal-freyman, state vice-president from the Springville club and vice-president, Leen Allan of Ogden; Don Fowles, Salt Lake, state secretary; Ted Anderson, a national director, and Bud Schardine. president of the Springville club. The dinner-meeting was presided over by Mapleton JC president, Marty Perrero with Niel Whiting acting as toastmaster. Approximately Approxi-mately sixty five Jaycees and partners were in attendance at the delightful and successful affair. The program included short talks by the visiting officials and the presentation of gifts to the two high visiting national officers. It was the first time the national president or vice-president had made a visit to this active and enthusiastic en-thusiastic Mapleton organization.
