Show Springville Guard Enrolls 8 Men During Past Veek Springville's 116th Engineer Co. (light equipment) of the National Guard did a bang up job during the one-day national recruiting drive last Saturday, reporting four new enlistments for the day and eight for the week. The Guard unit now has a total of 124 men enrolled and has but four vacancies, according to report by Warrant Officer Robert Bring-hurst. Enrolling on Saturday wore Jack B. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Hall, 2nd West Center, Spanish Fork; Gary E. Rothlisbergcr, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rothlisber-ger, Rothlisber-ger, 91 No. First West, this city; Pary P. Tipton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Tipton, 137 No. 4th East; Garth M. Whitney, son of Mrs. Vilate M. Whitney, 998 East 4th So. On February 15, the following were enrolled: Dick R. Clyde, son of Mrs. Madge Clyde, 178 North Main St., and Elden Clyde, East Center St.; Charles M. Erdmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Erdmann, Erd-mann, 353 So. 1st East; Luther F. Radabaugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Radabaugh, Orem. Jesse W. Warren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Welby Warren of Mapleton Maple-ton was also an enrollee of the past week taking the oath on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, February 15. |
