Show Home Culture Club Elects Officers Mrs. Hugh Baxter 'was hostess to the Home Culture Club last Friday afternoon. Mr. Cunningham of the Geneva Steel Co.. gave a short talk, using charts of statistics1 statis-tics1 to prove the need of greater care by the public, in the prevention preven-tion of accidents, especially in the home where they were of far more frequent occurrance than in any other place. He then showed a clever film entitled "Reality of Paradise Valley", demonstrating how one community successfully interested the entire population to cooperate in their safety measures. Miss Anna Merrie Fry sang two numbers, accompanied by Mrs. Maurice Bird. Mrs. C. E. Eggert-son Eggert-son gave a splendid report of the last meeting of the Legislative Council. Election of officers followed. Mrs. Arthur Condie was elected president; Mrs. Alma Miner, vice-president, vice-president, Mrs. W. H. Anderson, secretary-treasurer. Mrs. Baxter's daughter, Mrs. Delia Clark of Provo, Pro-vo, was a guest. Delicious refreshments were served. |
