Show Funeral Services Saturday For Mrs. Mary L Lowe Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louisa Powell Lowe, 70, who died Wednesday morning of ailments incident to her age, will be conducted con-ducted Saturday at 2 p.m., m the Second - Eighth ward chapel. Bishop Bish-op Leo Crandall of the Eighth ward will be in charge. Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral home Friday from 6 p.m., to 9 p.m. and at the family residence, resi-dence, 40 East Seventh South, from 10 a.m., until time of the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Lowe was born in Joseph City, April 6, 1879, a daughter of Joseph and Almira J. Gifford Powell. She spent her early life in Southern Utah later moving to Idaho with her parents. She came to Springville in about 1892, In 1897, she was married to William Wil-liam Nephi Lowe. He died several years ago. Mrs. Lowe was a member of the LDS church. About five years ago, she lost' the sight in both eyes and for more than a year, she had been in ill health. She was a mother of 12 sons and daughters with eleven living as follows: William E. Lowe, Glenn R. Lowe, Earl Lowe, Arvil C. Lowe, John Lowe, all of Springville; Spring-ville; Paul Lowe, Spanish Fork; Ray Lowe, Sacramento; Mrs. Ada L. Nichols, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Rose Davis, San Diego, Calif. ; Mrs. Lela Christensen, Roy, Utah; also 48 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Almira Lowe and Mrs. G. F. Giles, both of Springville. |
