Show City Centennial Events Are Being Planned By Committee Members The major event ushering in the 100th anniversary anniver-sary of the settlement of Springville, will be the April Art Exhibit, it was announced this week fol- blowing a meeting of the Centen- max committee. On July 24th, Pioneer Day, a special observance is to be held under direction of the Chamber of Commerce with Wm. J. Phillips, Chamber president as general chairman. Springville's formal birthday, Septemmber 18, ;will also be the occasion of a special observance program in the form of a pageant under direction of the local Daughters of Pioneers, it was stated. The Hafen-Dallin club is also sponsoring a centennial program as a benefit entertainment on Wednesday Mar. 22, and plans are underway for several other events in observance of the 100 anniversary. anniver-sary.
