Show toured many places of interest in 3 the vicinity. They were gone about a week and enroute home stopped at the Utah National Parks. Mr. and Sirs. Jaok Davies (Cleo Hales) and two daughters Lynne and Lee of Hermosa, Calif., visited vis-ited over the weekend with an aunt, Mrs. Cleo Heavener. The girls plan to stay in Springville and to visit their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hales in Salt Lake City, while Mr. and Mrs. Davies get located in Chicago, 111. where Mr. Davies has been trans-fered trans-fered in his work. - William Richard Devenish, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Devenish of this city, has been visiting friends and relatives here and in Salt Lake City ond Ogden. He is on leave from the Navy. When he returns to duty he will be stationed at . Norman, Oglahoma. Richard is an j Airman with the Navy and expects to go to school there to learn the fundamentals of aircraft. Iound- n- bout 'ZJown . . . Mr. and Mrs. Abe Ullock enjoyed a visit from Mr. Ullock's brother Reginald TJUock and wife and their son Mike, who have returned to their home in Bremerton, Wash, after a week in Springville. It was their first trip to Springville and the first one to Utah in 35 years and the Ullock's and their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brown took them to Salt Lake, Bingham and other places of interest in the state. . A number of Springville relatives rela-tives motored to Layton Thursday evening to attend the wedding of Delmar Stevens, son of Don and Bessie Weight Stevens .and Miss Judy Morgan also of Layton. Attending At-tending from Springville, were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weight and son Frank, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Weight, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Weight and son Larry; Maria Weight, Ello Weight, Mrs. Ber-niece Ber-niece Lutz and daughter Diane; also Mr. and Mrs. Carrell Waters of Provo; and Frank Snell of Spanish Span-ish Fork. Mrs. Ada Cannon of St. George has been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Jane Wagoner and a sister, Mrs. Ella Crandall in Springville. Mrs. Albert Zobell of Raymond, Alberta Canada, visited last week in Springville with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Zobell and Mr. and Mrs. Vayne Zobell, cousins and their families and also with the Mr. Zo-bell's Zo-bell's mother, Mrs. Cotherine Zobell Zo-bell and other relatives in Provo. The Canadian visitor came to Utah to attend the MIA convention. conven-tion. Mr. and Mrs. Berton Groesbeck accompanied by Mae Finley and Bess Finley, returned recently from a trip to California.
