Show 1 Funeral Services , Wednesday for Mapleton Veteran Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in the Mapleton ward chapel for Joseph L. Halverson, 52, who died in a Salt Lake hos- I pital Sunday evening. i ' Burial was in the Spanish Fork ' City cemetery, where military rites were accorded by the Springville Spring-ville Post American Legion. Mr. Halverson was born, Jan. 3, ' i 1904, in Mapleton, a son of An-I An-I drew and Mary Bole Halverson. Mr. Halverson has lived in Mapleton Maple-ton all his life and was a veteran of World War H. 9 Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: James Halverson, Hal-verson, Spanish Fork; Chris Halverson, Hal-verson, Salt Lake City; "Harvey Halverson, West Jordan; Merrill Halverson, Mapleton; Mrs. Myrtle Oshby, San Lorenzo; Calif., and " Mrs. Mary Bowen, Thornton, Ida. |
