Show Mother of Local Man Dies in Provo A number of Springville people were in Provo Saturday to attend funeral services at the Berg Drawing Room, for Mrs. Melvina B. Clark, 75, mother of J. Ray Clark, 20 North Second East, this city, who died Wednesday at the Utah Valley Hospital, after a short illness. She was a native of Provo Bench, now Orem, and after her husband, Joseph W. Clark, retired from the Utah Power and Light Co. they moved to Orem. She was active in LDS church work and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Besides her husband, she is survived sur-vived by two sons, Glen L. Clark of Salem, and J. Ray Clark of Springville; Mrs. Lester Brown, Bishop, Calif., and Mrs. Harold B. (Jack) Sumner, Orem; 19 grandchildren grand-children and 41 great-grandchildren. |
