Show COUNTY PASSES DOG LICENSING Dogs in Utah county outside incorporated in-corporated towns and cities may out a licmfwypshrdluetaoishrdl not be kept at all without a license, according to an ordinance passed Monday by County Commissioners Com-missioners Hlton A. Robertson, J. W.. Gillman and Charles White. County Attorney W. Stanley Dun-ford Dun-ford drew up the ordinance. . Licenses for dogs will cost $2 for males and $3 for females, the ordinance states. Peace officers of the various precincts will assist the county clerk in the collection of the license fees, and receive half of the fee for their work. They will also get $1 for destroying destroy-ing dogs and a commission on dog sales. Penalty for violating the ordinance ordin-ance was set at $50 or 50 days. The ordinance becomes elfec-tive elfec-tive on February 20, after which it will be unlawful to allow dogs to run at large in the evening. Without tags, dogs may be impounded. |
