Show I Church News . . The home missionary groups under the direction of Solon .Wood, will be in charge of meetings at the First and Second wards Sunday Sun-day evening at tne regular time. Wendall Mendenhall is chairman of the First ward program and Warren Beardall of the Second. Scout programs and special courts of honor will feature the Sunday night meetings of the Third and Fourth wards this week. An interesting and educational talk on early L. D. S. church history his-tory in connection with picture slides of places of interest in connection con-nection with early church history, was given by Jack Bearnson, at the Fourth ward services, la3t Sunday evening, "Upstairs Peggy", a 3 act play, was presented by the Second ward at the Relief society of the First ward Tuesday afternoon. The same play was presented an a budget card entertainment at the Fourth ward Wednesday evening. The stake, genealogical eommil-tee, eommil-tee, under the direction of l,nwi:i Child, are arranging a pageant "The Hearts of the Children" to be given in the near future. Minn Edith Nash Is director. The First ward will rutcrtalii with a dunce Friday night, na a part of the season's budget card entertainment. The Ladies' Missionary wx'.iely of the Community chruch will give their annual silver tea at 7:30 p. jn. Wednesday, February 21, at the church. Community church members and friends are invited to attend. |
