Show Firemen's Annual Report City property damaged by fires in 1933, totaled only $47.50, as compared with a total city damage dam-age of $15,293 in 1933, the annual firemen's report shows. County fire damage totaled $1,685 in 1933, and $1,292 the preceeding year. The fire department responded to 16 city fires in 1933 and exactly ex-actly the same number the year before, while 8 county runs were made in 1933 and 7 in 1932. An average of 18 firemen from an enrollment of 23 members, attended at-tended each fire in 1933, and an average of 16, the year previous. |
