Show KIWANIS CLUB HOLDS BIRTH-DAYPARTY BIRTH-DAYPARTY All material things exist in the spiritual mind before they become be-come material," declared Dr. E. P. Mills of Ogden, past lieutenant governor of Kiwanis, at a meeting meet-ing of the local organization of the twelfth birthday anniversary of the club. Kiwanis ladies and widows of former members were special guests during the evening. J. J. Boyd of Buhl, Idaho, governor gov-ernor of the Utah-Idaho Kiwanis district, spoke on Kiwanis ideals and acomplishments of the club. President J. F. Wingate extended, extend-ed, a welcome to members and guests and introduced Secretary Milton Harrison as toastmaster of the evening". E. E. Knudsen gave a toast to the ladies and Mrs. J. O. Reynolds responded. Readings were given by Miss Naomi Broad-bent, Broad-bent, an oboe solo, by Verl Harrison; Harri-son; vocal solo, Miss Helen Pal-freyman, Pal-freyman, accompanied by Miss Lucile Stowell. C. G. Salisbury in behalf of the club, presented each lady guest with a favor. Approximately 100 club members mem-bers and guests attended the program pro-gram and banquet. |
