Show COUNTY FIXES BEERSALE FEE Persons selling either bottled or Iraft beer in Utah county must pay a fee set Tuesday by the county commissioners in a special spe-cial session. Fees established by the resolution reso-lution are the same as those previously pre-viously set by ordinance, before the new state liquor law, passed by the 1935 state legislature, annulled an-nulled the original ordinance. The license is $15 for retail sales of bottled beer, $50 for retail re-tail sales of bottled and draft beer; $100 for wholesale dealers of bottled beer only, and $200 for wholesale dealers of both keg (draft) and bottled beer. Confer With Brown J. W. Gillman, chairman of the commission was informed Monday Mon-day by Hugh B. Brown, chairman chair-man of the state liquor commission, commis-sion, that the country has the power to close up establishments which are selling beer without a county license. The board was also informed that establishments which had obtained licenses from the county prior to the enactment of the new liquor law, may continue to operate oper-ate this year. Those operating seasonally may obtain seasonal licenses from the state liquor commission. |
