Show PAYSON BOYS AREjNJURED Owen Barber, 18, son of Mrs. Winnie Provstgaard and Elias Bona, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Bona, suffered severe cuts and bruises when a horse they were riding was struck at 11 p. m. Monday. The boys were riding between the rails of the Salt Lake' and Utah Railroad track on First North street, going from town to their homes. The truck was driven by Len Toolson, 19, of Smithfield and with him was his brother Kenneth Ken-neth Toolson, 21. They were going to Nephi and were traveling west at the time of the accident. The driver was confused or had fallen asleep and-was uncertain as to the cause of the collision, going on about XM blocks before stopping. stop-ping. The accident was investigated investigat-ed by Night Policemen Orrin Richardson Rich-ardson and Henry Simmons. . The injured boys were taken to the Payson" hospital, and the Tool-son Tool-son brothers were held until Tuesday Tues-day but no charges were preferred against them. Both the car and the horse were out of their lane of travel. |
