Show MENDENHALLS AT REUNION Nearly 300 relatives from all parts of the state, attended the three day reunion of descendants of William and Sarah Lovell Mendenhall, Men-denhall, at Kelley's .Grove, Hobble Creek canyon, the past week end. A camp fire program and a wein-er wein-er roast were outstanding features of Friday nights entertainment. Junior baseball; horseshoe pitching pitch-ing and children's games were held Saturday forenoon. 1 The annual baseball games between be-tween family members from the north and the south ended in a victory by the latter team. Each Sunday forenoon the families fam-ilies hold regular Sunday school exercises at the grove, the years program being under the direction of Superintendent Joseph Mendenhall Menden-hall of Ealt Lake, with Willis K. Johnson in charge of the music. Fololwing Sunday school, dinner was enjoyed and the celebration and social gathering adjourned until next July. Willis K. Johnson Jr. was appointed ap-pointed program chairman for next year's entertainment, with Reed Bird and Byron Mendenhall of P'ayson as assistants. Howard Mendenhall is Sunday school superintendent. super-intendent. S. L. Mendenhall is president of the family organization with Mary M. Oakes, secretary and Arlcne Mendenhall, treasurer. |
