Show 12 DIE IN SANTIAGO EARTHQUAKE Tropical Community Terrorized Terror-ized By Series of Temblors; 300 Injured; Heavy Properly Prop-erly Damage Reported. SANTIAGO, Feb. 3 CU.R) (Copyright) A series of earth shocks terrorized this tropical community early today to-day and caused damage to hiany of the buildings in the city. Residents were frightened md ran to the streets and thereby, officials believe, prevented a heavy death toll. Governor Jose Barcelo announced that only 12 persons were known to have been killed. About 300 persons were Injured. , The shocks also were felt at Quantanamo, Baracoa, Holguin and Bayamo, but little damage was reported and only a few persons were injured.
