Show HOSPITAL TAX GAINS FAVOR Levy To Aid in 'Raising Fund For MemoHal-L. D. S. Hospital Urged. Urging that definite steps "be taken concerning the appropriation of $50,000 for aid in the construction of a county hospital, a delegation of men representing the Provo chamber cham-ber of commerce and the Provo post of the American Legion met with the county commissioners Monday morning. Levy is Favored It was pointed out by the delegation delega-tion that until a definite stand was taken by the commissioners concerning con-cerning the project it would be impossible im-possible to commence a popular subscription campaign as the amount of money to be raised could not be- determined. All three of the commissioners expressed ex-pressed themselves as favoring taxation tax-ation as a means of raising the money, but deferred taking definite stand on the proposition until certain cer-tain leal matters were cleared up. County Attorney. George Baliff was later called to the meeting and was requested to investigate the matter and make recommendations to the commissioners sometime during dur-ing the afternoon.
