Show LAST CAR OF COCKERELS IS SHIPPED OUT The last shipment of cockerel; from Springville was made Tuesday Tues-day through the local branch of the Utah Poultry association, according to Manager Lioner Miller. An increase of two cents per pound was paid for this shipment as compared with the previous one. it is stated. Approximately twelve carloads have been sent from this community commu-nity during this season including parts of cars loaded with Pay son and Provo. Kusiness at the local plant has increased in-creased steadii;; since operation began be-gan early this spring, it is reported. Practically aJ of the producers are buying feed now tlvough the local branch and several hundred cases of eggs are received each week and I trucked daily to Provo for grading. A turnover ot more than $14,000 has been made at the plant during the past three months, and a big increase is expected with the coming com-ing of the egg laying season. |
