Show MAPLETON NEWS ITEMS A numbe'r of friends enjoyed a delicious oyster supper Sunday evening' at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bills. The party consisted con-sisted of Miss Lool a Hurst of Os' den, Miss Elaine Fird, Miss Uda Holley, Donald Hall, Jim 1-Tollcy, We'lby Warren and the host and hostess. Miss Lcola Hurst of Ogden spent the week-end with her sisters, Mrs. Mack Whitney and Mrs. Lavel Bird. Miss Eva Allan and Miss Donna Perry of Maploton and Reed Vincent Vin-cent and Mark Bradford of Spanish Fork enjoyed a weincr roast in Spanish Fork canyon Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hammond and son Richard of Salt Lake City spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Harmcr. Mr. and. Mrs. Joe Binks of Soldier Summit we're visitors of Mrs. M. E. Binks and other relatives during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Perry of Idaho are visiting with friends and relatives in Mapleton during the we'ek. Sunday guests of Mrs. Annie Whiting were her daughter, Mrs. John Leamaster and family. Ira Allan and Fred Murray have returned from southern Utah where thty have been engaged in work for some time. Mark Johnson returned from Denver Friday night where he has been for one week. While there he took the aviation test. Merrill Bird of Ogden was among Mapleton out-of-town vistors this week. |
