Arriving hf're from Southampton en route to Is'cw York, the Leviathan Levia-than took aboard passengers and 50 cases of assorted cognac, champagne cham-pagne and red and white wines. It was noted that the wines were of stronger variety, such as rich, old red Burgundies averaging 3 i per cent alcohol. All through the liner's public rooms, printed notices were posted advising passengc'13 that the wine would be permitted in the dining rooms but their service clscVhcre 13 prohibited. |
