Show Public Affaira Committee To Give Program The public affairs committee, J. F. Smith, chairman, will give the program at the we'ekly meeting of Kiwanis club this evening, according accord-ing to announcement of E. A. Lee, secretary. In his announcement, which docs not give the program, Mr. Lee says: Practically all of us can remember remem-ber when the rule in business was the survival of the fittest. "Men in business and proftl-sional life were prone to look upon a competitor competi-tor as an enemy and could not see a spark of human kindness in him. Competition was keen and a man was content to build his institution on the ruins of his competitor. .But today men meet and discuss business problems. It is not a question ques-tion of how we can get the other fellow's business, but how we can create a greater demand for our product. The result is a decided advantage ad-vantage to all. |
