Show " - V i Francis L. (Roy) Anderson of this city, takes over new duties with Mt. States Tel. and Tel. at Roosevelt, Aug. first. Springville man advances with phone company Francis L. Anderson, 1125 East 4th South Springville, has been appointed manager of the Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone in Roosevelt. He will assume as-sume his new duties August. 1, according to Arthur Brown, Drovo district plant superintendent superinten-dent for the company. Mr. Anderson was born in Delta. Later, his family moved to Spanish Fork. His wife is the former Lois Hansen of Springville. They have three children a son, Kurt, 13 and two daughters, daugh-ters, Kristine,9, and Karalee, 2. The family will move to Roosevelt and make their home. Since he accepted his first employment in the telephone business in 1951, in Salt Lake City, Mr. Anderson has filled many positions which have given him a broad background. He has worked as a lineman, a construction foreman, an installer, in-staller, central ' office repairman, repair-man, central office foreman and as an instructor of other telephone technicians in the maintenance of crossbar dial switching equipment. During the change to dial service at Vernal in 1962, he served as the conversion foreman. With the growth contemplated contem-plated in Roosevelt and the programmed conversion to dial operation there, Mr. Anderson's Ander-son's experience and background back-ground will be most valuable to telephone customers in this area Mr. Brown said. |
