Show I 1 , 1 i V- NT : ; i... Wt.i umm Ronald Kent Anderson, 19, former high school student, fatally injured in auto accident acci-dent in Washington. Former student loses life near Havy base Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Sixth Ward Chapel Monday, for Ronald Kent Anderson, 19, a former student at Springville High School, who lost his life in an automobile accident, April 24, near Oak Harbor, Wash. He had been stationed near that city with the US Navy. William Wil-liam Pratt, former bishop of the ward was in charge. He was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Provo, a son of Kent Duke and Betty Pratt Anderson. Before moving to Salt Lake City in 1959, he attended Provo Pro-vo elementary and junior high schools and Springville High School. He graduated from the Granger High School in Salt Lake in 1961 and entered the US Navy. After completion of boot training in San Diego, Mr. Anderson studied Navy electronics elec-tronics in Tennessee and Alaska Alas-ka and was one of the top ten in his class of 150 students. A ' member of the LDS Church, Mr. Anderson was a priest at the time of his death. Surviving are his parents, Mrs. Betty Anderson, Santa Monica, Calif; and Kent D. Anderson, Provo; grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mrs. Betsy Anderson, Provo; and Mrs. Rey L. Pratt, Salt Lake City; two brothers and two sisters: Charles N. Vicki, Kelly Rey and Tammi Anderson, all of Santa Monica. |
