One game was yet to be played on the first half schedule. Second half play will begin Wed., Jan. 11 with all games being changed to the Jr. High gym beginning at 7 p.m. The schedule follows: Jan. 11 Eighth vs Tenth, Ninth vs Fifth, Third vs Fourth; Jan. 18 Fourth vs Ninth, Fifth vs Eighth, Tenth vs Seventh; Jan. 2i Ninth vs Seventh, Third vs Tenth, Fourth vs Fifth; Jan. 25 Fifth vs Third. Tenth vs Ninth, Seventh vs Eighth; Feb. 1 Third vs Eighth, Fourth vs Seventh, Fifth vs Tenth; Feb. 8 Tenth vs Fourth, Seventh vs Third, Eighth vs Ninth; Feb. 9 Seventh vs Fifth, Eighth vs Fourth, Ninth vs Third. Trophies at the conclusion of play will be awarded to the champion (thewinners of each half of play will play the best 2 out of 3 games for the title), sportsmanship, the outstanding coach, the all-star team of the league and the most valuable valua-ble player. Bliss Diamond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Diamond, who is attending the Masachusetts Institute of Technology at Boston, Bos-ton, came home for the holidays holi-days visiting with relatives and friends. He returned by jet Tuesday. A graduate of the local high school and the University Uni-versity of Utah, he expects to receive his Masters degree in February from the School of Engineering and plans to continue con-tinue working for the present in the Lincoln Laboratories in Boston. |
