Show Relatives get word of death of Y.E. Metcalf William Earl Metcalf, 57, 167 E. 2nd No., Provo, a native na-tive of Mapleton, died Tuesday Tues-day of a heart attack at his place of employment. He was born July 6, 1903, in Mapleton, a son of Levi Gregory Greg-ory and Margaret Llewellyn Metcalf. He married Goldie Hall May 16, 1928 in Richfield, Ida. They were later divorced. He had lived in Idaho where he was a farmer. During World War II he moved to California where he was employed as an electric welder in the shipbuilding ship-building industry. In 1946 he moved to Provo "where he worked for Provo Steel Co., as a welder. Recently he had been working at Regal Bowling. Bowl-ing. He was an expert bowler. He was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are one son and two daughters, William Earl Metcalf, Mrs. Gus (Janice) Ingwerson and Mrs. Donald (Leila) Sanders, all of Modesto, Modes-to, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, one ' brother, three sisters, Bert Metcalf of Weiser, Ida.; Mrs. Lou Palfreyman and Mrs.. Hazel Ha-zel Robertson, both of Provo, and Mrs. May Goodmanson of Riverside, Calif. |
