Peerless Quartet at get-togeth- er Among the delightful holi-day parties was that at the home of Mrs. Jennie Tew, 87 East 5th South, Tuesday even-ing of last week where mem-bers of the former Peerless Quartet of Mapleton and their partners were entertained. A nicely arranged turkey dinner was served early and the remainder of the evening was spent singing. Present were, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Holley, Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Waters of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waters, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Houtz and Mrs. Alice Waters of Provo; Naomi T. Rowan of Salt Lake City and the hostess. Riding Club closes year with party Springville Riding Club mem-bers and their partners cli-maxed the year 1960 with a gay holiday party at the Fire Hall Friday evening. Under direction of the re-cently elected president, Len-ar- d Harward, short business was transacted and the re-mainder of the evening was spent playing games, visiting and exchanging Christmas gifts. A delicious pot luck supper was served at the close of the party to nearly thirty members and guests. |
