Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting enjoyed a visit from their son Dr. Rex Whiting and his wife and family of Heber, Sunday. Visiting with the J. R. Banks family Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Spykerman and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Loback and daughter all of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Blair N. Binks an( children John and Barbara of Loma Linda, Calif., were guests at the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Norris T. Binks Saturday. Mrs. Lester Hansen of Dutch John is spending several days visiting with relatives and friends in Mapleton. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gren was the scene of a Senior Aaronic Cottage meet-ng meet-ng one evening last week which was attended by fourteen four-teen members. Miss Margery Warren is convalescing con-valescing at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Welby Warren after a tonsilectomy at the Utah Valley Hospital. Mrs. Hugh Hjorth and Mrs. John Spencer representing Camp Union DUP and Mrs Aaron Mendenhall and Mrs. Glen Holley representing Camp Mapleton DUP attended the South Utah County DUP Convention Con-vention in Spanish Fork last week. Mrs. Dick Booth and small sons from Kearns were Mapleton Maple-ton visitors during the week. They were guests of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Jensen Jen-sen and also visited her grandfather grand-father Chris Jensen who is ill. Richard Fullmer accompanied accompan-ied by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Fullmer were in Salem Sunday to attend a welcome wel-come home service for one of Richard's companions, Albert Thompson. Representing the two Mapleton Maple-ton wards at the recent Kolob High Priests social in the Springville First-Twelfth ward were the following members: Mrs. Jennie Tew, Mrs. Ethel Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. John Parry, Par-ry, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Harmer, Har-mer, Mr. and Mrs. Norris Binks, Mrs. Lavell Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hjorth and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Whiting.
