Show ; . TV 1 "' ' Bliss Diamond to graduate in June from the U of U as outstanding student engineer at the school. Springville Man Takes High Honors at V Following in the footsteps of an older brother, Bliss Diamond of this city, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Diamond, 184 West 4th North, has been named outstanding out-standing student engineer at the University of Utah from which he will graduate in June. Competition in which he received re-ceived the honor, is sponsored by the U of U chapter of Theta Tau, professional Engineering Engin-eering Fraternity. Two years ago, Dale Diamond, Dia-mond, a brother to Bliss won the same honor and now holds a high position as an electrical engineer in the employ of the federal government in Hawaii. Bliss has also several attractive attrac-tive offers. He maintained a 3.814 grade point average during his entire en-tire four years at the University. Univer-sity. In addition he has served as president of the national engineering en-gineering fraternity at the school; as vice-president of an electrical engineering fraternity fratern-ity and corresponding secretary of Theta Tau. He is also active .n 'the Engineer Council of the American Institute of Electrical Electri-cal and the Institute of Radio Engineers. He is a 1955 graduate of the opringville high school where hewas an honor student attain-ng attain-ng special high marks in mathematics. |
