Show Tributaries How Open to Anglers Strawberry Reservoir in Wasatch County opened to general angling July 8, the Utah Deparatment of Fish and Game announced recently. The season on these waters will remain re-main open until September 1,. 1958, under an amendment to the general provisions of the 1958 angling proclamation. These waters, which have been closed to fishing for the past several years because of interference with grazing livestock, live-stock, were opened under a cooperative agreement with the Strawberry Water users. Anglers will now have an opportunity op-portunity to harvest many of the larger fish from these waters wa-ters which have previously been returned to the main reservoir re-servoir through seining operations As with other waters, fishing hours on these streams will be from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily and under the agreement, overnight camping will not be allowed on the streams. Prospective Pros-pective anglers were also asked ask-ed to refrain from driving vehicles ve-hicles on other than established establish-ed roadways. Department personnel will patrol the area regularly to see that these provisions are enforced. |
