Don Phillips promises President Oliver H. DaJton he will take good care of the purebred Suffolk ewe presented him by the Kiwanis club and return to the club one female lamb so they can continue the sheep chain project with Future Farmers Far-mers of the high school. Future Farmer Given Purebred Ewe in Kiwanis Chain Project Don Phillips is the recipient of the Purebred Pure-bred Suffolk ewe presented by the Springville Kiwanis. club to a qualifying FFA member as the first of a chain project which the club plans to carry on as they have a purebred pig chain program. Through sponsorsnip of the club several FFA members have in years past been started start-ed on successful pig raising projects with the purebred pig given them by Kiwanis and the sheep project will be carried car-ried on in a similar manner. The name of the lucky winner win-ner of the sheep was drawn from a list of FFA boys who qualified through special activity ac-tivity in FFA work.
