Show Mrs. Rose 0. Ward Passes Away; Burial in SIX. Mrs. Rose Owens Ward, 85, long-time resident of Springville, Spring-ville, died Monday morning of ailments incident to age. Holy Rosary was celebrated Tuesday evening and Requiem Mass is being held today (Wednesday) (Wed-nesday) at 11 a.m., in St. Francis Church, Provo, with Father Coleman Calloty' officiating. offi-ciating. Burial under direction of Claudin-Linde will be in the family plot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salt Lake City with graveside services to begin at 1 p.m. Mrs. Ward was born in Der-nahesco Der-nahesco County, Monaghan, Ireland, March 9, 1873, a daughter df Patrick H. and (Continued on Page 2, Col. 3) Mrs. Rose O. She came to the United States in 1898 to Pueblo, Colo, and was married there to Patrick L. Ward. They moved to Springville Spring-ville to their family home site at 511 South Main St., and the family has lived there since. Mr. Ward died December 16, 1932. Mrs. Ward was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by six sons' and daughters, O. P. Ward and Mrs. John (Marie) Fennell of Salt Lake City; Hugh J., Vincent Vin-cent and Ella Ward of Springville; Spring-ville; Mrs. Carl E. (Erin) Butcher But-cher of Dover, N.J. |
