Desperate efforts ef-forts are being made throughout Idaho to finish the state's quota on Victory bonds by Wednesday night and win second sec-ond place amonjr the states of the Twelfth federal reserve district. Butte county reported re-ported across the top Tuesday with an oversubscription. Wednesday afternoon and night practically all counties will observe ob-serve as a business holiday and a con-cerled con-cerled effort will bo made to finish the loan: Most counties report more than 50 per cent of the quota subscribed and many are as much as 75 pr cent over. Chairman Chair-man Montie B. Gwinn has wired Acting? Governor Calkins of the Twelfth reserve assurance that Idaho will make pood. Chairman Gwinn based his optimistic message on plodus of chairmen of counties coun-ties in Idaho. With one or two exceptions, excep-tions, ail have definitely promised to make good.
