Jones, who has been in charge of construction work at Fort Douglas, leaves today for San Antonio, Tix.. where he will be assigned to duty as electrical engineer, under Major Ma-jor Chamberlain, who is supervising the construction of a .?l',800,000 military project. proj-ect. Lieutenant Jones is the only electrical engineer now on duty in the construction division, all others having been discharged dis-charged and transferred. His new assignment as-signment will be the eighth construction job - with which he has been connected. He has been in charge of the erection of barracks at Washington, D. C, eastern military camps and overseas near the base ports. "Jack," the ' Airedale titleholder of canine pugilistic honors for the entire military reservation, will leave with Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Jones. A discharge will, be given today to Lieutenant L. J. Campbell, property officer offi-cer for the genern! hospital at Fort Douglas, and he will leave for his horn in Xpw York. Lieutenant Wilbur Sparrow Spar-row has been assigned to the position. of property officer, relieving Lieutenant Campbell. Stanley Korado, Three Hundred Forty-seventh Forty-seventh fire truck and hose company, was yesterday discharged at the war prison. He will re-enlist after a short vacation. |
