Show CONFISCATED AUTO IS ORDERED SOLD Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Oct. 16. Judge A. E. Pratt of the district court, who also sits at Morgan, has issued an order for the confiscation con-fiscation and sale by the state of the automobile of "Cupid" Huey of Salt Lake at Morgan. The motion of Huey for the release of the car because it was used to carry liquor by a friend giving the name of George Cunningham was refused by the court. The sheriff at Morgan is instructed to advertise the car and sell it and turn the funds over to the state. According to the facts brought out in the case, Cunningham Cunning-ham drove the car to the. garage of D. li. Heiner at Morgan to have the axle mended. Heiner is a deputy sheriff and while working on the car discovered that the extra lare rear seat and specially constructed platforms carried liquor. Cunningham Cun-ningham was arrested and the car and liquor seized. Bound Over hy Court. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Oct. 16, Earl Spann, charged with raising a check, has been bound over to the district court under a bond of S500. He is alleged to have raised a check for $18.20 to 5S0.20. |
