Show TESTIMONY CLOSES IN BATTERY ACTION Special to The Tritium1. OGDKX. Dec. 2i. The ease of the state against William J. Stephens. Sr., and his three sons. William. Jr.. George and Frank F.. charged with battery in connection wiih the attack upon William P. Lethbridge, a tenant in the Argyle apartment house, said to bo operated by the defendants, was resumed in the city court today before Judge D. R. Roberts. The introduction of testimony by the defense de-fense was completed and tomorrow the arguments will be made and the case submitted to the jury. 'Die witnesses today were Mrs. William J. Stephens, Jr.. and her husband. George, and Frank Stephens acd William J. Stephens. Sr. They .denied that Lethbridge Leth-bridge was struck avd said that only sufficient force had been used to eject him from the apartment house.
