Show VOCATIONAL TRAINING CANVASS PROGRESSES In order to find the vocationally handicapped handi-capped service inert entitled to training by the federal board, Richard Price, federal fed-eral advisor, ha: left to visit tho main settlements in Uintah county. Mr. Price will be in Duchesne today; My ton, Thursday; Koosevell, Friday, and Vernal, Ver-nal, Monday and Tuesday. By the end of the year it is pla.nned to have the whole state canvassed. During Mr. Price's absence J ulius B. Bearnson, his assistant, will have charge of the local office. According to word received yesterday, Clyde L. Dorlon has been granted a course in agriculture at the Utah Agri-cull Agri-cull urn 1 college. Mr. Dorton was dea f-ened f-ened in the recent war ami has recently been given a course in lip reading. A letter was received yesterday at the local office from H. Allen Nye, district supervisor for vocational education of Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico, Mex-ico, thanking The Salt Lake Tribune for the publicity given the federal board in helping locate vocationally handicapped service men entitled to free schooling. |
