Show of wool u Greatest Yield in History Is Expected; Labor Trou-j Trou-j bles Quieted. Australia will realize its largest wool crop in history this year, according- to Walter Harrison, head of an importing and exporting company of Sydney, Australia, Aus-tralia, who is in Salt Lake while on a business trip in America. A tjroat deal of this wool will be sent, to the United States. Mr. Harrison said. Business institutions in Australia, he stated, are eag-er to open rela Lions vith American instiiutions, and for this reason ho is touring- America. .Labor troubles have quieted down in Australia, he stated, exeept for minor outbreaks, as tho sentiment is becoming prcAalent that laboring men are entitled to fair wage scales. The people of Australia believe that the league of nations is the greatest possible safeguard of humanity and sup- j port it unitedly, he declared. I Mr. Harris, who is personally interest- j ed in the lumber business and gets most , of his lumber from the Pacific coast, importing it from Seattle and Tacoma, 1 stated that GO per cent of Australia's lumber comes from America. |
